From
the entrance boulevard to the breezy openness of the showroom
area and state-of-the-art technology, Mike Burkart
Ford-Mercury on state Highway 57 and County Trunk Highway
PP in Plymouth is redefining car dealership standards in
the area.
Lofty
words, state-of-the-art. But care has been taken to assure
the new facility does more, serves better, and offers
more than its previous facility and well into the 21st
century.
Mike
Burkart, co-owner of the ford dealership with partner
Tom Beringer, decided to build the facility because, "we
were working out of an old facility that was outdated
and we were selling over 1000 cars a year. We just needed
more space - more lot space, better display area, more
parking for customers, larger service department and
body shop with a more efficient way of working on the
cars and better traffic flow through the dealership."
Burkart
sought the Expertise of Miller Zell out of Atlanta, Ga.,
who specializes in automobile facilities throughout the
country, to design the facility. He also toured other
dealerships in the country with his managers, listened
to their input, and tried to accommodate anything within
reason - and his managers agree that he pretty much did
that. |
